Forge SPC Guides
Each guide works through one example project that ships with Forge SPC, from the raw measurements to a decision: is the process stable, and is it capable? The screenshots and numbers are taken from the app itself, so you can open the same project and follow along.
Forge SPC runs on your own PC, offline. The same guides are available inside the app under Help.

X̄-R chart walkthrough: a machining process
25 subgroups of turned diameters with a tool-wear episode. Covers contaminated control limits, setting a Phase I baseline, reading Nelson rules 2, 3 and 6 as patterns rather than outliers, and judging capability with Cp, Cpk, Pp and Ppk while the process is unstable.
I-MR chart walkthrough: injection-molded part weight
30 single measurements, one per shot, with a hidden shift and one heavy part. Covers moving ranges as the estimate of short-term spread, how a shift widens limits computed from all the data until it hides inside them, revealing it with a Phase I baseline, reading signals across the I and MR charts, and why Cpk 1.67 next to Ppk 0.89 means capable but not stable.
